Description:
Mycol 50mg Injection is a medicine used to treat severe fungal infections that affect the blood, lungs, brain, or other internal organs. It is also used for a parasitic disease called visceral leishmaniasis (kala azar). It works by killing the fungus or parasite that causes the infection.Mycol 50mg Injection is generally given in a hospital or clinic by a doctor or nurse through a drip into the vein. It is important to complete the full course as advised, even if you start feeling better, because stopping too early can make the infection come back or become harder to treat. Drink plenty of fluids and rest well to help you get the best results from the treatment.
Ordinary side effects of Mycol 50mg Injection include fever, chills, headache, nausea, or tiredness after the injection, especially with the first few doses. These usually get better as your body adjusts. You may also notice kidney-related problems, so your doctor will check your blood and urine often. If you experience any symptoms that persist or worsen, inform your doctor.
Mycol 50mg Injection should be taken only under strict medical guidance. People with kidney disease, heart problems, or electrolyte imbalances need extra care, as the medicine can make these conditions worse. It is important not to take any other medicines, especially painkillers or antibiotics, without your doctor’s approval because they may increase side effects.
