FAQs:

What is Provate S Plus Cream used for, and which skin conditions does it treat?

Provate S Plus Cream is used to treat steroid-sensitive skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other hyperkeratotic (thick, scaly) dermatoses. Provate S Plus Cream contains beclometasone, which reduces inflammation, and salicylic acid, which helps remove scales.

Who should not use Provate S Plus Cream?

Individuals should not use Provate S Plus Cream if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, have untreated skin infections, rosacea, acne, or perioral dermatitis. It should not be applied to open wounds.

Can I use Provate S Plus Cream on large areas of skin?

Employ Provate S Plus Cream on large areas, or for long periods only if directed by your doctor, as it may increase the risk of side effects, including thinning skin, and absorption of the steroid into the bloodstream.

What precautions should I follow while using Provate S Plus Cream?

While using Provate S Plus Cream, you should avoid covering the treated area with bandages unless told by your doctor. Do not use it for longer than prescribed, and do not stop suddenly. Your doctor may advise you to reduce its use gradually to avoid flare-ups. Retain away from the eyes, and wash your hands after application.

Is Provate S Plus Cream safe for children?

Provate S Plus Cream should be used with caution in children, and only under medical supervision. Children are more likely to absorb steroids (a medicine component present in Provate S Plus Cream) through the skin, which may affect growth and hormone balance.
