Description:
Nilspot Gel is a dermatological medicine used for the short-term, intermittent treatment of moderate to severe melasma of the face. It works by reducing excess melanin formation and improving skin turnover, helping lighten dark facial patches.Nilspot Gel is for external use only. Nilspot Gel should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose.
The common side effects of this medicine include dryness, redness, and a stinging sensation at the application site. If these side effects or any other symptoms that you think are because of this medicine persist for a longer duration, consult your doctor.
Nilspot Gel should be used only under medical supervision and for short-term, intermittent treatment. It is meant for external use on the face only and should not come into contact with the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. Sun exposure or UV light should be strictly avoided during treatment, as this can cause repigmentation of treated areas. Employ sunscreen regularly.
Its safety has not been established in pregnancy or in children below 12 years, and caution is advised in breastfeeding women. Treatment should be stopped if severe irritation, hypersensitivity, or worsening of skin symptoms occur.
