Description:

Lorox SP Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Lorox SP Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. You should take it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lorox SP Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Lorox SP Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks.
Breast feeding

Driving
UNSAFE
Lorox SP Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Lorox SP Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data suggest dose adjustment may not be needed.
Liver
CAUTION
Lorox SP Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, the use of Lorox SP Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
