Zytee RB Gel is only meant for external use inside the mouth and should not be swallowed. Apply a small amount of the medicine directly to the affected area inside the mouth using a clean fingertip or cotton swab. You can use it up to three or four times a day, or as advised by your doctor. Do not eat or drink anything for at least 15 to 30 minutes after applying it.
There is limited data regarding the common side effects of this medicine. However, some people may feel a mild burning, stinging, or numbness right after application. These effects are usually temporary and go away on their own. If the irritation becomes severe or you notice swelling, rashes, or any signs of an allergic reaction, stop using it and consult your doctor.
Avoid using it in children unless recommended by a doctor, as safety in younger age groups may be limited. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any known allergies to salicylates or antiseptics, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Also, let your doctor know if you are using other medications, especially blood thinners, as Zytee RB Gel may interact with them if used extensively.
