Description:
Zurvast D 10mg/1000IU Tablet is used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may also reduce risk of future heart attack and stroke.Zurvast D 10mg/1000IU Tablet is used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may also reduce risk of future heart attack and stroke. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this medicine to work better. It may cause diarrhea as a side effect, so it is better to have this medicine with food. It may change liver function and blood sugar levels so monitor them properly. This medicine may also cause reduction in calcium levels, so have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium. Dizziness, stomach pain, muscle pain, and constipation are some other side effects associated with this medicine.
