FAQs:

What is Zubitin Tablet and what is it used for?

Zubitin Tablet contains vitamin B7 (biotin), a water-soluble B-complex vitamin. Biotin plays an important role in the normal metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, and supports normal nerve, skin, and nail health. This medicine is used to supplement biotin in people with a deficiency or increased requirements, which may help improve related issues such as brittle nails or hair thinning, as advised by a doctor.

What causes biotin deficiency?

Biotin deficiency is uncommon, but it may occur due to poor dietary intake, long-term use of certain antibiotics, chronic alcoholism, smoking, or conditions that interfere with nutrient absorption, such as some gastrointestinal disorders. Increased requirements may also be seen in specific clinical situations.

What are the symptoms of biotin deficiency?

Symptoms of biotin deficiency may include brittle or thinning hair, weak or splitting nails, skin rashes, and seborrheic dermatitis. If these symptoms persist, medical advice should be sought for proper evaluation.

Can Zubitin Tablet be taken long-term?

Zubitin Tablet should be taken for the duration advised by your doctor. Long-term use should be guided by medical advice, especially if taken in higher doses.
