Description:

Zio Nano Gel is used to relieve pain and reduce swelling in your joints and muscles. It can be used to treat various injuries, such as sprains, strains, and bruises. It can also be used for tendonitis (such as tennis elbow) and osteoarthritis.

Zio Nano Gel may be used 2 to 4 times a day on the affected area depending on the severity of your condition. It should be applied slowly and evenly to the skin until it is rubbed in. Do not use it too often and do not cover the treated area with a bandage or plaster.

It is a safe medicine with few side effects, but you may get a skin rash, itching, reddening, or burning of the skin. Occasionally, a skin rash may be a sign of a severe allergic reaction. Tell your doctor straight away if you get a rash with blistering. Zio Nano Gel is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and you should not use it if you are already taking medicines containing diclofenac or other similar medicines.

This medicine is for external use only. Employ it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Immaculate and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Zio Nano Gel is a pain‑relieving medicine used to treat joint pain, neck pain, sprains, spasms, and other types of pain. It works by blocking the chemicals that cause pain and inflammation, and also provides a cooling effect to soothe the affected area.

Can I apply Zio Nano Gel on broken or irritated skin?

No. Apply Zio Nano Gel only to clean, intact skin. Do not apply to wounds, open injuries, or diseased skin. Avoid the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Stop use if a skin rash develops.

Zio Nano Gel is contraindicated in children and adolescents under 14 years of age. For those 14 years and older, follow the directions given by your doctor.

Does Zio Nano Gel affect sun sensitivity or cause skin reactions?

Affirmative. Local irritation (redness, itching, dermatitis) can occur after using Zio Nano Gel. Limitedly, blistering or photosensitivity reactions happen. Minimize sun exposure on treated areas and discontinue if significant skin reactions appear.
