Description:

Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of opioid dependence or addiction to opioids. It helps prevent withdrawal symptoms that may be caused due to the withdrawal of other opioids. It is only prescribed to individuals who are at least 16 years of age or above.

Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may be habit-forming and should be taken only as directed by your doctor. The medicine may be a part of your treatment which could include receiving social and psychological support. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine include headache, sweating, drug withdrawal syndrome, nausea, vomiting, and constipation. It may also cause numbness in mouth, tongue pain, back pain, lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, sleep disturbance, difficulty in paying attention and fainting. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.

This medicine causes dizziness and sleepiness, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Pregnancy

Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding

Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Employ of Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with serious liver disease.
