Description:
Vildax P 15mg/50mg Tablet is a medicine used to manage blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps to improve insulin sensitivity, enhance insulin secretion, and prevent serious complications in people with diabetes.Vildax P 15mg/50mg Tablet may be used by itself or in combination with other medicines. It may be taken with or without food. However, take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Your doctor will decide what dose is best for you, and this may change from time to time according to how well it is working. Retain taking this medicine, even if you feel well or your blood sugar levels are controlled because if stopped without consulting the doctor, your blood sugar levels could rise and put you at risk of complications. Remember that this combination medicine is only part of a treatment program and your lifestyle habits also play a big part in controlling diabetes. Eat a healthy diet, do regular exercise, and reduce body weight as advised.
The most common side effects of this medicine include upper respiratory tract infection, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, runny nose, and fever amongst others. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects do not go away or get worse. They may be able to help by adjusting the dosage or by prescribing an alternate medicine.
You should not take Vildax P 15mg/50mg Tablet if you have type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis (high levels of acid in your blood), or severe kidney or liver disease.
