Description:
Trespin 300mg Respules is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat infections of the lung (e.g., pneumonia). It is particularly effective in managing lung infections in people suffering from a disease known as cystic fibrosis.Trespin 300mg Respules is only meant for inhalation using a nebulizer. The solution should not be injected or swallowed. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This helps to improve your symptoms and resolve the underlying infection. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
Ordinary side effets of this medicine include increased may cause cough, pharyngitis, change in taste, or voice change as side effects in some patients. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. Regular rinsing of the mouth with warm saline water and the use of lozenges may help you to overcome the side effects. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects persist or if your condition does not improve.
Your doctor may advise you periodic blood counts and kidney function tests for monitoring. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding before using this medicine. Let your doctor also know about all the other medications you are taking, if any.
