Description:
Tobacent-D Ophthalmic Solution is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections. It stops the growth of bacteria and helps in relieving redness, itching, and swelling.Tobacent-D Ophthalmic Solution is to be used only in the affected eye. Read the label carefully for instructions before you use the medicine. Employ it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor or as instructed on the label. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Total your dose even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection.
Ordinary side effects of Tobacent-D Ophthalmic Solution include irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects.
In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication.
