Description:
Systaflam-MR Capsule SR is a combination medicine used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.Systaflam-MR Capsule SR should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.
Some of the common side effects on of this medicine includes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heartburn, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.
The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, and liver. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should first consult their doctors before using the medicine.

The use of Systaflam-MR Capsule SR is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/ bleeding. Its use should also be avoided in a patient with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Affirmative, long-term use of Systaflam-MR Capsule SR can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protect them from damage. Employ of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Employ of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.
Will a higher than the recommended dose of Systaflam-MR Capsule SR be more effective?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity.
