Description:

Sunflox-D Eye/Ear Drops is used in the treatment of bacterial infections in the ear/eyes. It works by stopping the growth of microorganisms and killing the existing ones that cause the infection. It also blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy.

Sunflox-D Eye/Ear Drops is for external use only. Employ it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Employ it regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. You should not discontinue using the medicine unless your doctor tells you so. Stopping the medication before time may allow the bacteria to continue their growth, which may result in the return of the infection. Do not use it on your ear if you have a perforated or ruptured eardrum. Contact lenses should not be worn while you are using this medicine for an eye infection.

It is effective in killing many types of bacteria. However, it will not work for other types of eye/ear infections (e.g., viral) and therefore, should only be used if prescribed by your doctor. Unnecessary use of any antibiotic can lead to a decrease in its effectiveness in the future.

Some people may experience a burning sensation or irritation in the ear/eyes. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or if your condition worsens. It may cause some short-term blurring of vision. Do not drive immediately after administering this medicine in the eye. Let your doctor know if you are using any other medicines for the treatment of the same condition.
