Description:

Stedmoxt Tablet is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth.

Stedmoxt Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It should be taken with food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. The medicine should be swallowed as a whole without crushing or chewing. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better.

The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, rashes, etc. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help. To overcome or avoid the side effects, you should keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water and follow a healthy and balanced diet.

Earlier taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are taking any medicines for any health condition. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with their doctor before taking it. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this medicine. It usually does not impair your ability to drive, but you should not drive if it makes you feel sleepy or dizzy.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stedmoxt Tablet is to be taken with food.

Warning & Precautions:

Alcohol
UNSAFE
Consuming alcohol while taking Stedmoxt Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Stedmoxt Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding
CAUTION
Stedmoxt Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
If a single dose of Stedmoxt Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Driving
UNSAFE
Stedmoxt Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Stedmoxt Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
CAUTION
Stedmoxt Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stedmoxt Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Employ of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Stedmoxt Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Stedmoxt Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
