Description:

  SITASTAR D 5mg/100mg Tablet is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. This medicine is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in proper utilization of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar level.
  
 SITASTAR D 5mg/100mg Tablet can be taken with or without food at any time of day but try to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor, and don’t stop taking it without consulting them. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. This medicine is only a part of the treatment program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.

Uses:

 Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.   SITASTAR 5mg/100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Directions For Use:

  •     SITASTAR 5mg/100mg Tablet is used alone or together with other diabetes medicines to control blood sugar and avoid long-term complications.
  • It also reduces the risk of heart attack, heart failure or other cardiovascular events.
  • You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with    SITASTAR 5mg/100mg Tablet.

Side Effects:

  •  Vaginal yeast infection
  • Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages)
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Upper respiratory tract infection
  • Headache

Warning & Precautions:

 Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, a urinary tract infection, or you are on water pills (diuretics). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking this drug as this may increase the risk of some side effects. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while taking this medicine.
