Description:
Silotag-SF Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps relax the muscle of the urinary bladder and prostate gland. This way it helps relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine, nighttime urination, and sudden urge to urinate.Silotag-SF Tablet may be taken with Food to reduce stomach upset. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly. Take it for as long as the doctor has prescribed for maximum benefits.
The most common side effects of this medicine include ejaculation disorders, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nasal congestion, orthostatic hypotension, and cognitive disorders. If you experience any such side effects, ask your doctor about ways of reducing or preventing them.
Earlier taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, liver, or kidney disease. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking, if any. It is intended for use in men only; women should not take the medicine. Avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid or limit alcohol consumption while on treatment with Silotag-SF Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness.
Directions For Use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Silotag-SF Tablet should be taken with or after food.Side Effects:
