What are the serious warning signs I need to watch for while taking Serontin Syrup?
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms like fever, sore throat, rash, mouth ulcers, bruising, or fatigue while on Serontin Syrup. These may signal blood problems or a severe allergic reaction. Sudden changes in mood, thoughts of self-harm, or new or worsening depression also require urgent medical attention.

What is Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS), and can Serontin Syrup cause it?
Affirmative, Serontin Syrup can cause DRESS, a rare but serious allergic reaction that may include fever, rash, swollen glands, or liver and kidney problems. It can occur even if a rash has not appeared yet. If you notice these symptoms, stop taking Serontin Syrup and get medical help right away.
Can Serontin Syrup cause serious skin reactions?
Although rare, Serontin Syrup can cause life-threatening skin conditions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS). Symptoms include a painful rash, blisters, or peeling skin. Stop taking Serontin Syrup immediately if these appear and seek emergency care.
