Description:

Riasis 30mg Tablet is used in the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis which is a type of skin condition. This medicine is used when other conventional treatments cannot be used or if the patient is not responsive or intolerant to any of these treatments.

Riasis 30mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and do not stop taking the medicine even if you get better until that doctor tells you it is alright to stop. You may need to monitor your weight regularly while taking the medicine as it may cause weight loss.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. If these side effects persist or get worse, let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms by prescribing you an alternative medicine or by adjusting the dose.

To make sure the medicine is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know all the other medicines you are taking. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor first before taking this medicine.

No, Riasis 30mg Tablet is not an immunosuppressant. It belongs to a class of medicines known as phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitors (PDE4) which work by blocking the activity of PDE4. PDE4 is found in inflammatory cells and blocking it helps in reducing the molecules responsible for inflammation.

Q. How long does it take for Riasis 30mg Tablet to work?

Riasis 30mg Tablet is used to treat plaque psoriasis (red, scaly, thick, itchy, painful patches on skin) and psoriatic arthritis (a condition that causes joint pain and swelling). It is a long-term treatment and may take about 16 weeks to show an improvement.

You should not take rifampicin if you are taking Riasis 30mg Tablet. Rifampicin interferes with the working of Riasis 30mg Tablet by decreasing its levels, making it less effective. As a result, you may not see any improvement after taking Riasis 30mg Tablet.

Q. What if I get pregnant during treatment with Riasis 30mg Tablet?

In case you get pregnant while taking Riasis 30mg Tablet, you should inform your doctor immediately. In fact, pregnancy should be avoided during treatment with this medicine.
