Description:

Renotop Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. It protects the kidneys from damage and reduces the risk of kidney failure.

Renotop Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, fever, runny nose, diarrhea, abdominal pain, skin irritation and rashes, and throat irritation. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

Earlier taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Renotop Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Renotop Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Breast feeding

Renotop Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving
UNSAFE
Renotop Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Renotop Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.
Liver
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Renotop Tablet is used to help prevent contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) in people at high risk, such as those with kidney problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure, older age, dehydration, unstable blood flow, or those taking kidney-harming medicines.

Who should not take Renotop Tablet?

Renotop Tablet should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to taurine, acetylcysteine, or any other ingredient in the medicine.

Can people with severe asthma take Renotop Tablet?

Renotop Tablet is not recommended for people having a sudden, severe asthma attack. Asthma patients should be closely monitored during its use.

Can Renotop Tablet cause allergic reactions?

Can Renotop Tablet interact with other medicines?

Affirmative, taking Renotop Tablet with cough-suppressing medicines may cause mucus build-up by reducing the cough reflex. Oral antibiotics should be taken at least two hours apart from this medicine.
