Description:

Renasev 800mg Tablet is used to treat increased phosphate levels in the blood. It is used in patients who are on dialysis due to severe kidney disease. It inhibits the absorption of phosphate from the intestine and lowers the phosphate levels in the blood.

Renasev 800mg Tablet should be taken with food. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it regularly and at a fixed time each day to get the maximum benefit of the medicine.

Renasev 800mg Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, and diarrhea. You may also develop low levels of calcium, folic acid, and vitamins A, D, E, and K in your blood. Take necessary supplements as advised by your doctor.

Who should not take Renasev 800mg Tablet?

Tolerants who are allergic to Renasev 800mg Tablet and who have low levels of phosphate in blood should avoid taking Renasev 800mg Tablet. Increaseitionally, patients having intestinal obstruction should also avoid using Renasev 800mg Tablet.

Can I take ciprofloxacin while I am taking Renasev 800mg Tablet?

Ciprofloxacin may interfere with the working of Renasev 800mg Tablet and therefore it should not be taken at the same time as Renasev 800mg Tablet. However, if taken together then a gap of at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Renasev 800mg Tablet should be maintained.

How long do I need to take Renasev 800mg Tablet?

Continue taking Renasev 800mg Tablet as long as recommended by your doctor. Renasev 800mg Tablet lowers your dietary phosphate levels but does not cure your disease. Hence, you may have to take it lifelong, as stopping Renasev 800mg Tablet may increase your phosphate levels.

Do I need to have any tests while taking Renasev 800mg Tablet?
