Description:

Pyridium 100mg Tablet is used for symptomatic relief of pain. It helps treat burning sensation, urgency to urinate, and other discomforts arising from the urinary tract caused by infection, trauma, surgery, etc. It should be used only for symptomatic relief of pain and not as a substitute for other treatments.

Pyridium 100mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. This will reduce stomach upset that can be caused by the medicine. In general, the use of this medicine should not exceed more than 2 days. Consult your doctor regarding the dose and duration and follow the instructions strictly.

Some common side effects seen with this medicine include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, and urine discoloration. These side effects are usually temporary and go away after the treatment stops. However, if they persist or get worse, you should let your doctor know.

Earlier starting treatment with this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or suffering from any liver, kidney, or heart problems. You should also let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicine for the same condition or other diseases.
