Protectoderm Ointment is for external use only. Employ it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Immaculate the affected area thoroughly and let it dry before application. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. Do not apply more than you need, as it will not clear your condition faster, and some side effects may be increased.
There is limited information regarding the common side effects of Protectoderm Ointment. However, some may experience skin irritation at the site of application. These are temporary and usually resolve with time.
Avoid direct contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. In case of direct contact, wash it off with clean water. You should stop applying it straight away if you have any signs of an allergic reaction.
