Description:
Iron is important for many functions in the body, especially for the transport of oxygen in the blood. Polycarb Softgel Capsule is used to prevent and treat iron-deficiency anemia.Polycarb Softgel Capsule may be taken with or without food; however, if it upsets the stomach, take it with food. Follow all directions on the product package, or take it as directed by your doctor to get the most benefit from it. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. It is advised to take it at a fixed time to avoid missing a dose.
This medicine may cause a few common side effects, such as constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dark stools, and abdominal pain. However, they are usually mild and go away in time as your body gets used to the medicine. If the symptoms persist or get worse, let your doctor know.
Do not take Polycarb Softgel Capsule if you have a known history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of this product. It is also contraindicated in patients who have hemochromatosis and hemosiderosis. In case of accidental overdose, contact your doctor immediately as it can be fatal.
