Description:

Pirtine Capsule is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to treat acute and chronic pain associated with various conditions such as muscle pain, headache, nerve pain, postoperative pain, and menstrual cramps.

Pirtine Capsule can be taken with or without food. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly. Take it exactly as prescribed.


Ordinary side effects of Pirtine Capsule include fatigue, dizziness, heartburn, and nausea/vomiting. These effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own. However, if you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, consult your doctor.


To make sure it is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. You should also tell your doctor about all the other medicines you are using or taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using this medicine.

What is the benefit of using Pirtine Capsule with paracetamol?

Both Pirtine Capsule and paracetamol help in relieving pain, but they work in entirely different ways. When paracetamol is given with Pirtine Capsule, pain relief is better as compared to single drug use. However, both can cause liver toxicity, so monitoring of liver function is very important when taken together.

Can Pirtine Capsule be used to treat osteoarthritis pain?

Pirtine Capsule can be used to relieve pain associated with osteoarthritis and post-orthopedic surgery pain. It is especially useful for patients who cannot take NSAIDs because of the risk of NSAID-induced gastritis.

Is Pirtine Capsule useful in the treatment of epilpesy?

Pirtine Capsule is not approved for the treatment of epilepsy. However, a few animal studies have shown a beneficial effect of Pirtine Capsule for treating epilepsy, and this effect is still being explored.
