Description:

Oxydin Injection is a combination medicine which helps in relieving pain. It is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Oxydin Injection is given by a doctor or a nurse and should not be self-administered at home. You should use it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not use more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, constipation, sleepiness, and dizziness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Earlier taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine, as alcohol can cause excessive drowsiness.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Oxydin Injection may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.
Even small doses of Oxydin Injection can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.
Driving
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Oxydin Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. Please consult your doctor.
Kidney
CAUTION
Oxydin Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Employ of Oxydin Injection is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Oxydin Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
