Description:
Oxydex Syrup is a combination of three medicines. It is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as coughing, wheezing and breathlessness. It helps in relaxing the muscles of the airway, thus widening it and making it easier to breathe.
Oxydex Syrup may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the maximum benefits. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor. You should avoid smoking and alcohol uptake while you are under treatment.
This medicine may make you dizzy or drowsy. You should not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until sure to perform such activities safely. Headache is another common side effect of this medicine. Drinking plenty of water and getting sufficient rest can reduce the side effects. If you experience any other symptoms on taking this medicine, you should let your doctor know.
Earlier taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any other medical conditions. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know about all the other medicine you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using this medicine.
Directions For Use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Oxydex Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
