Description:

Nucoxia P Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Nucoxia P Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine include diarrhea, indigestion, stomach pain, flatulence, and swelling of hands and feet. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects by prescribing an alternative medicine or adjusting the dose.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, liver, or have stomach ulcers. Driving

Can the use of Nucoxia P Tablet cause dizziness?

Affirmative, the use of Nucoxia P Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.

Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Nucoxia P Tablet?

The use of Nucoxia P Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers (NSAIDs) or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. . The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or active, recurrent stomach ulcer / bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Can the use of Nucoxia P Tablet cause damage to kidneys?

Affirmative, the long-term use of Nucoxia P Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Employ of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Employ of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.

Will Nucoxia P Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?

No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.

Can the use of Nucoxia P Tablet cause damage to liver?

Nucoxia P Tablet contains Paracetamol. These medicines are known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Employ of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with the underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.

What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Nucoxia P Tablet?

Retain this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.

Can I stop taking Nucoxia P Tablet when my pain is relieved?

Nucoxia P Tablet, when used for long-term pain relief, should be continued for as long as advised by your doctor. It can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.
