Description:

Nogun Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat abdominal pain. It works effectively to reduce abdominal pain and cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. It also blocks certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.

Nogun Tablet can be taken with or without food, in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. However, it is better to take it with food to reduce the chance of stomach upset. The dose depends on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. Inform your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking, as some medicines may affect or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, weakness, and nervousness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Earlier taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. You should also tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding.

FAQs:

What is Nogun Tablet used for and how does it work?

Nogun Tablet is used to relieve abdominal pain and stomach cramps, especially when the pain is caused by intestinal spasms. It contains dicyclomine and paracetamol. Dicyclomine helps relax the muscles of the stomach and intestines, while paracetamol reduces pain signals. Together, they help relieve cramping and improve comfort.

What are the common side effects of Nogun Tablet?

Nogun Tablet may cause side effects in some people, although many tolerate it well. Ordinary effects include nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, sleepiness, weakness, blurred vision, or diarrhea. Stop the medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you develop severe rash, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, fainting, or persistent vomiting.

Can I stop taking Nogun Tablet when my pain is relieved?

Nogun Tablet is usually used for short-term relief of abdominal cramps and may be stopped once the pain improves. However, if your doctor has advised you to continue it for a specific duration, follow their instructions.

Can I take a higher dose of Nogun Tablet than recommended?

No, taking more than the recommended dose of Nogun Tablet may increase the risk of side effects. If your pain is not relieved with the prescribed dose or becomes worse, consult your doctor instead of increasing the dose on your own.

Is Nogun Tablet suitable for everyone? Who should avoid it?

Nogun Tablet is generally safe when taken in the prescribed dose and duration, but it may not be suitable for everyone. People with allergy to its ingredients, severe liver disease, kidney problems, or alcohol dependency should use it cautiously. It should also be used carefully during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Nogun Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Nogun Tablet, take the next planned dose at the usual time unless your doctor advises otherwise. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

Can Nogun Tablet be taken after food?

Nogun Tablet is often easier on the stomach when taken after food, especially if you experience acidity or stomach irritation. Follow your doctor’s advice regarding the timing of doses.

Can Nogun Tablet be taken with other pain medicines?

Nogun Tablet should not be combined with other pain medicines without consulting your doctor because many products may contain similar ingredients. Taking multiple medicines with the same ingredients may increase the risk of side effects.

Can I take two doses of Nogun Tablet in a day?

The number of doses of Nogun Tablet per day depends on your doctor’s prescription and the severity of your symptoms. Do not change the dose or frequency on your own without medical advice.

How quickly does Nogun Tablet work?

Nogun Tablet may start relieving abdominal cramps within a short time after taking it, but the exact timing can vary depending on the severity of symptoms and individual response.
