Description:

Nexstep G Respules is used to treat Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This medicine helps the muscles around the lungs to stay relaxed and reduces symptoms like coughing, chest tightness and shortness of breath.

Your doctor will tell you how often you need to use your inhaler. It is important that you take the lowest dose needed to effectively control your chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The effect of this medicine may be noticeable after a few days but will only reach its maximum after a few weeks. This medicine must be used regularly to be effective, so go on taking it even if you do not have any symptoms. If you stop taking it your symptoms of COPD may get worse. Thus, it should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. It is best to take the first dose of this medicine under medical supervision as it may cause wheezing or tightening of the airways.

The most common side effects are sore throat, dry mouth, gastroenteritis, and insomnia. If you get these, do not stop taking it but do talk to your doctor.

Employ this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Twist off the top of the respule/transpule and squeeze all the liquid into the nebulizer. It should be used right away after opening.

The pack contains capsules in blisters packs that contain the medicine Nexstep G Respules in the form of inhalation powder. Take out the capsule from the blister pack and place the capsule into the capsule chamber of the inhaler. Close the inhaler to get a ‘click’ sound when it fully closes. Hold the inhaler upright and press both piercing buttons together to pierce the capsule. Breath out fully and then place the inhale into the mouth and breath in the medicine as deeply as you can. Continue to hold your breath for at least 5 to 10 seconds while you remove the inhaler from your mouth.

Inhalational Nexstep G Respules can lead to retention of urine and difficulty of urination in old age individuals. It is more common in men with enlarged prostate or benign enlargement of prostate. This condition can cause difficulty in urination or painful urination or frequent urination or dribbling of urine. Inform the doctor if you already have any such problems before starting the treatment or if you experienced any problems during the treatment.

Inhaling Nexstep G Respules can lead to blurred vision and can even cause acute narrow-angle glaucoma. This medicine can cause pain in the eye or discomfort, nausea or vomiting, blurred vision, seeing halos or bright colors around lights, and red eyes.
