Neulog-DS Tablet is to be taken by mouth with or without food. Take it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Taking it along with a low-protein diet may help get the best of the medicine. Ensure that you maintain adequate calorie intake during treatment. While you are taking this medicine, your doctor may advise regular monitoring of serum calcium levels.
There is limited data on the side effects of Neulog-DS Tablet. Let your doctor know if you experience any symptoms while taking Neulog-DS Tablet. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects.
Earlier taking Neulog-DS Tablet, it is important to tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines for other health conditions. Avoid taking Neulog-DS Tablet if you are allergic to its ingredients, or have high calcium levels (hypercalcemia). Regular monitoring of calcium levels is recommended during use.
Avoid combining Neulog-DS Tablet with calcium-containing supplements or certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, quinolones) without consulting a doctor, as they may interfere with absorption. Pregnant, breastfeeding women, and individuals with liver disease should seek a doctor’s advice before use. Avoid activities requiring full mental alertness, such as driving, until you know how the medication affects you.
