Description:
Neopred 20mg Tablet is a type of antibiotic used to prevent infection before or after certain intestinal surgeries. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria in the intestines. This medicine is also used to treat a certain type of coma seen in patients with liver disease (hepatic encephalopathy).
Neopred 20mg Tablet should be taken orally, as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Employ this medicine regularly to derive maximum benefit from it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Ordinaryly seen side effects seen with this medicine include diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. These are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if you find these side effects bother or worry you.
