Description:

Nebilong H Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps to control blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. It also helps to reduce chances of any future heart attack and stroke.

Nebilong H Tablet should be taken with or without food preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Retain taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may get worse. Retaining active with regular exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor’s advice while taking this medicine.

Nausea, constipation, fatigue, headache, and shortness of breath are some common side effects of this medicine. Consult your doctor If any of these bother you, or get worse, or do not go away.  Drink plenty of fluids while taking medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst. Dizziness or headache may occur due to low blood pressure, hence rise slowly from sitting position or avoid driving.

Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions. You should have your blood pressure, kidney function, blood sugar level and the levels of salts such as potassium or magnesium checked regularly to make sure that this medicine is working properly.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nebilong H Tablet may be taken with or without food.

What is Nebilong H Tablet used for?

Nebilong H Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Nebivolol, a beta-blocker in Nebilong H Tablet, relaxes blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic (water pill), helps the body get rid of excess salt and water. Who should not take Nebilong H Tablet?

Can Nebilong H Tablet cause serious allergic reactions?

Affirmative. Nebilong H Tablet can cause severe allergic reactions, including swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat (angioedema), and severe skin reactions, such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Does Nebilong H Tablet affect heart rate and rhythm?

Can Nebilong H Tablet affect breathing?

Affirmative. In people with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or other breathing problems, Nebilong H Tablet can make breathing worse. It should be avoided in people with a history of bronchospasm or uncontrolled asthma.

Nebilong H Tablet may increase blood sugar levels, and may make it harder to recognize signs of low blood sugar, such as a rapid heartbeat. If you have diabetes, regular monitoring of your blood sugar is important.

Can Nebilong H Tablet cause an electrolyte imbalance?
