Description:
Muprizen Cream 2.0% is an antibiotic medicine used to treat certain skin infections such as impetigo (red sores), recurring boils, and others. It works by killing certain bacteria. This helps to improve your symptoms and helps clear the underlying infection.Muprizen Cream 2.0% is meant for external use only. Apply it only to the affected area of the skin as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. To get the most benefit, apply it regularly, and preferably at the same time each day. Do not use larger amounts or apply it more often or for a longer duration than directed. Doing so may increase the risk of side effects.
Ordinary side effects of Muprizen Cream 2.0% include application site reactions such as a minor burning sensation, irritation, and rashes. These side effects are usually temporary and subside with time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. If the medicine accidentally gets into these areas, rinse thoroughly with water. Earlier using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any previous history of allergy to it or any other medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using it.
