Mifistar 10 Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of uterine fibroids, noncancerous growths in the uterus that can cause heavy bleeding, pain, and pressure. It blocks the hormone progesterone, which fibroids rely on to grow, helping shrink them and ease symptoms like heavy bleeding and pelvic pain.

Take Mifistar 10 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Try to take it at the same time every day to help build a routine. FAQs:

What is Mifistar 10 Tablet used for?

Mifistar 10 Tablet is used to manage symptoms of uterine fibroids, such as heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, lower abdominal pain, and pressure in the pelvic area. It helps improve quality of life by shrinking the fibroids and making the symptoms more manageable without the need for surgery in many cases.

How long does it take for Mifistar 10 Tablet to show results?

You may start to notice a reduction in bleeding and discomfort within a few weeks of starting treatment. However, significant shrinkage in fibroid size usually takes a few months. Your doctor will monitor your response to treatment and may adjust the dose or duration based on how well the medicine is working for you.

Will my periods stop while taking Mifistar 10 Tablet?

Affirmative, many women experience lighter periods or even temporary absence of menstruation while on Mifistar 10 Tablet. This is a common effect and usually not a cause for concern. Once the treatment is stopped, your periods typically return to normal within a few weeks.

Can Mifistar 10 Tablet cure fibroids completely?

Mifistar 10 Tablet can control symptoms and reduce fibroid size during treatment, but it does not cure fibroids permanently. The fibroids may grow back or symptoms may return after stopping the medicine. However, for many women, it offers a valuable non-surgical option to manage the condition effectively.

Is Mifistar 10 Tablet a hormonal medicine?

Mifistar 10 Tablet is not a hormone itself, but it acts on hormone receptors. It blocks the progesterone receptors in the uterus, which helps reduce the effects of progesterone on fibroid growth and menstrual bleeding.

Can I get pregnant while taking Mifistar 10 Tablet?

Affirmative, pregnancy is still possible while taking Mifistar 10 Tablet. However, the medicine can harm an early pregnancy. Employ a non-hormonal contraceptive method (like condoms or copper IUD) during treatment, unless you are specifically advised otherwise by your doctor.

Can I take Mifistar 10 Tablet with other medicines?

Some medicines may interfere with how Mifistar 10 Tablet works. Forever inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbal products you are using. This helps avoid harmful interactions and ensures that the treatment remains safe and effective.

Do I need regular check-ups during treatment?

Affirmative, regular follow-ups are important while you're taking Mifistar 10 Tablet. Your doctor may recommend blood tests or ultrasound scans to check the size of the fibroids and ensure that your liver and overall health are not affected by the medicine. These check-ups help your doctor decide how long you should continue the treatment and whether any changes are needed.
