Description:
Met-Pco Care Tablet is a combination of medicines used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It regulates ovulation and menstrual cycles (periods) in PCOS. It enhances the body's response to insulin, and maintains hormonal balance. This improves your overall health.
Met-Pco Care Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is to be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
It may cause side effects like taste change, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor in case these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.
Earlier taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver or heart problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Your doctor will check your kidney function tests before starting treatment with it. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking it as this may increase the risk of developing some side effects.
Directions For Use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Met-Pco Care Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Side Effects:
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Met-Pco Care Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Met-Pco Care Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Employ of Met-Pco Care Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Met-Pco Care Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Met-Pco Care Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Met-Pco Care Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
