It is used when the lining tissue of the inner rectum becomes inflamed (proctitis). It helps to reduce symptoms such as diarrhea, bleeding and stomach pain by reducing inflammation in the bowel.
Mesacol 1g Suppository is only for rectal route and should not be taken orally. It must be use under the supervision of a doctor or healthcare professional.
