Description:

Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. This medicine works by blocking and inhibiting the release of certain chemical messenger.

Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are diarrhea, fatigue, constipation, headache, and flushing of skin. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your dizziness.

Earlier taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. Overdose or high dose of Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet may have harmful effects on your health, so do not consume more than the recommended dose. You must stop this medication and consult your doctor in case you encounter any allergic reaction symptoms include skin rash, swelling, and itching etc.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding
CAUTION
Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.
Driving

Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.
Liver
UNSAFE
Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
However, the use of Lupisetron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
