Description:

Lormol T4 Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used for symptomatic treatment of acute mild to moderate pain and inflammation in patients of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Lormol T4 Tablet should be taken before meals with a sufficient amount of liquid. Taking it with food is not recommended as food can reduce the effectiveness of the medicine. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.

The most common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, headache, stomach pain, upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.

Earlier using it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using the medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lormol T4 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

What is Lormol T4 Tablet used for?

Lormol T4 Tablet is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) used orally to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and other musculoskeletal or joint disorders. It may also be prescribed for acute lumbar pain and postoperative pain.

Who should not use Lormol T4 Tablet?

Individuals should not use Lormol T4 Tablet if they are allergic to Lornoxicam, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any ingredient present in Lormol T4 Tablet. This medicine should also not be used if they have peptic ulcers, history of gastrointestinal bleeding, severe liver, kidney, or heart failure, bleeding disorders, thrombocytopenia (low blood platelets), are pregnant (especially in the last 3 months), or breastfeeding, or are a child under 18 years.

What precautions should I take before starting Lormol T4 Tablet?

Earlier starting Lormol T4 Tablet, you should inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma, allergies, heart failure, high blood pressure, liver/kidney disease, diabetes, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, lupus erythematosus, or blood coagulation disorders. Avoid alcohol, and monitor for any stomach or intestinal symptoms.

Are there any serious side effects of Lormol T4 Tablet I should watch for?

Earnest side effects of Lormol T4 Tablet include signs of stomach or intestinal bleeding (black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain), allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), kidney or liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine, severe fatigue), or sudden mood changes. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of these symptoms.

How long should I take Lormol T4 Tablet, and when will I see results?

You should take Lormol T4 Tablet only as prescribed and do not use long-term unless directed, as extended use increases risk of stomach and heart complications. Relief is usually noticed within a few hours for pain, but follow your doctor’s instructions for duration.
