Description:

Lexclav Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is prescribed by doctors based on the type and severity of the infection.

You can give Lexclav Dry Syrup to your child with food. Lexclav Dry Syrup dose depends on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. So, stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed. Do not double-dose if it's time for the next dose.


Ordinary side effects of this medicine include vomiting, diarrhea, and nausea. These side effects should diminish on their own. But, in case they persist or start bothering your child, consult the doctor. They may be able to help prevent or reduce the side effects.

The mucus coming out of my child’s nose is yellow-green. Is it a sign of a bacterial infection?

Golden or green mucus in the nose does not mean that antibiotics are needed. During a common cold, it is normal for mucus to thicken up and change from clear to yellow or green. Symptoms often last for 7-10 days.
