Itrapet Pet Oral Suspension should be given exactly as prescribed by the veterinarian. Consider giving food to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset. Continue the treatment for the full prescribed duration, even if your pet’s symptoms improve earlier, as stopping too soon may cause the infection to return. Retaining your pet’s living area clean and disinfected and limiting contact with other animals during treatment. This will help prevent the spread of infection and support recovery.
Itrapet Pet Oral Suspension may cause some side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or increased liver enzymes. These effects are usually temporary and go away once the body adjusts to the medicine. Contact your veterinarian if vomiting, loss of appetite, or tiredness persists or worsens, or if you notice signs of liver problems such as yellowing of the gums, eyes, or skin.
The use of Itrapet Pet Oral Suspension is not recommended in pets with liver disease. It should also be used with caution in pets with heart disease or those receiving other medicines that affect the liver. It should not be used in animals with a known hypersensitivity to itraconazole or other azole antifungal medicines. Regular veterinary monitoring is recommended to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the medicine.
