Description:

Impavido 50mg Capsule is an antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of kala-azar (a parasitic disease spread by the bite of infected sand flies). It inhibits the growth of the parasite and kills it, thus relieving your infection.

Impavido 50mg Capsule should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with food, preferably at a fixed time to minimize side effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned. Take plenty of oral fluids to keep yourself hydrated and prevent dehydration.

Some people may experience headache, nausea, itching, and sleepiness as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects bother you or persist for a longer duration.
