Imox Clo LB Capsule treats a wide range of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also treat infections caused by resistant bacteria. The presence of probiotics helps in reducing the chance of getting side effects like diarrhea.
Donate Imox Clo LB Capsule either with or without food but it is best to give it with food if it upsets your child’s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose.
Imox Clo LB Capsule can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects should ideally subside on their own. But, in case these side effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without a delay.
Tell your child’s doctor if your child has had any previous episodes of allergy, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, and kidney malfunction. Information of your child’s medical history will help the dose make dose alterations and plan your child’s overall treatment.

FAQs:
Why has my child been prescribed Imox Clo LB Capsule?

The addition of probiotics helps reduce the side effects, such as diarrhea, which can occur due to the prolonged intake of antibiotics.
Can I give Imox Clo LB Capsule to my child repeatedly for a long time?
Giving your child Imox Clo LB Capsule for a long-term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). Therefore, do not alter the dose and duration on your own and give Imox Clo LB Capsule to your child exactly as prescribed. Increaseitionally, irregular treatment, repeated use, and misuse of Imox Clo LB Capsule can make the bacteria resistant.
Are there any possible serious side effects of Imox Clo LB Capsule?
Although rare, Imox Clo LB Capsule may cause some serious side effects such as persistent vomiting, kidney damage, allergy, diarrhea, and severe gastrointestinal infections. Forever consult your child’s doctor for help in such a situation.
