Uses:

In Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Glimigen-MV2 Tablet is a medicine that helps to control high blood glucose (sugar) levels. FAQs:

Q. What is Glimigen-MV2 Tablet?
Glimigen-MV2 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. This medicine is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). It improves the blood glucose levels in adults when taken along with proper diet and regular exercise. Glimepiride lowers the blood glucose levels by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. Metformin works by lowering the glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor which lowers the postprandial (after meals) glucose levels in the body. This combination is not indicated for the treatment of Type 1 DM.

Q. What are the possible side effects of Glimigen-MV2 Tablet?
The use of Glimigen-MV2 Tablet is associated with common side effects like hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), nausea, diarrhea, altered taste, flatulence, stomach pain, headache, skin rash and respiratory tract infection.

Q. Are there any specific conditions in which Glimigen-MV2 Tablet should not be taken?
