Genucerin Capsule is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis. It lowers pain and swelling and helps the stiff joints to heal quickly. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines.
Genucerin Capsule is to be taken with food. Take it regularly and at a fixed time each day. It may take few weeks for the medicine to work. Along with taking the medicine, exercise regularly to strengthen muscles around the affected joint and manage your weight. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
It may cause few common side effects such as diarrhea or discoloration of urine. Regular monitoring of blood sugar level, especially in diabetic patient, is important as it may increase your blood sugar level.
