What is Flexomax Gel used for?

Can I apply Flexomax Gel on broken or irritated skin?

No. Apply Flexomax Gel only to clean, intact skin. Do not apply to wounds, open injuries, or diseased skin. Avoid the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Stop use if a skin rash develops.

Are there any serious side effects of Flexomax Gel I should watch for?

Although rare, serious side effects of Flexomax Gel can include hives, facial swelling (angioedema), or asthma symptoms. If these occur, stop use and seek medical help. Highly rare photosensitivity reactions can also occur, so you should protect treated skin from excessive sunlight.

Is it okay to cover the area after applying Flexomax Gel?

Non‑occlusive bandages may be used after applying Flexomax Gel, but avoid airtight or occlusive dressings because they can increase absorption and the risk of side effects.
