Description:

Falteem Tablet is an antimalarial medicine used for the treatment of malaria in both children and adults. It targets malaria parasites in the blood and helps clear the parasites from the body, reducing disease severity.

Falteem Tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed. It may be taken with or without food. Ensure that you complete the full treatment duration, even if symptoms improve earlier. Finishing the entire course is essential to prevent the malaria infection from returning.


Falteem Tablet is generally well tolerated when given at recommended doses. At high dosages, some individuals may experience abdominal discomfort, ringing in the ears, or diarrhea. If such symptoms persist or worsen, or if anything feels unusual during treatment, you should consult your doctor for assessment and guidance.


Falteem Tablet should not be used in individuals with known allergy to artemether or any artemisinin derivative. Its use should generally be avoided during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, unless a doctor determines it is necessary due to the severity of malaria.
