Eylea 40mg/ml Injection is a medicine used to treat certain serious eye conditions such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic macular edema, and macular edema following retinal vein occlusion. It helps reduce swelling, bleeding, and leakage in the retina, and helps stabilize or improve vision.

Eylea 40mg/ml Injection is injected directly into the eye by a trained eye specialist, usually in a clinical setting. The frequency of injections depends on the condition being treated and how well you respond to therapy. Make sure to attend all scheduled appointments and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully for best results. After the procedure, your doctor may advise you to avoid certain activities like swimming or rubbing your eye for a few days.

Some common side effects after receiving Eylea 40mg/ml Injection include eye pain, redness, blurred vision, or a feeling of something in the eye. These usually go away on their own within a short time. However, if any of these persist or get worse, let your doctor know. To reduce side effects, make sure to keep the eye clean and follow all aftercare instructions.

Earlier starting treatment with Eylea 40mg/ml Injection, inform your doctor if you have any eye infections or a history of glaucoma. The injection should not be given if you have an active infection in or around the eye. Eylea 40mg/ml Injection should be used with caution in patients with a history of stroke or heart problems.
