Description:

Extralast Tablet is a medicine used to treat premature ejaculation in adult men. This medicine increases the time it takes to ejaculate and improves control over ejaculation. This helps to relieve the anxiety or frustration about fast ejaculation.

Extralast Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). It may be taken with or without food. This medicine should only be taken if you have been diagnosed with premature ejaculation by a doctor. It is usually advised to be taken 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity. Do not take it more than once a day. Follow your doctor’s instructions while taking this medicine.

Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, nausea, indigestion, fatigue, increased sweating, and restlessness. Some people can develop erectile dysfunction with this medicine. Let your doctor know if any of the side effects persist or worry you. Do not drive or do anything that requires focus (eg. working with heavy machinery) until you know how this medicine affects you, as some people can develop dizziness and sleepiness as side effects.

Do not take Extralast Tablet if you have heart problems (like heart failure or problems with the heart rhythm), or have ever had depression or mania, or are currently taking medicines for depression known as MAO inhibitors. Earlier taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have epilepsy (seizure disorder or fits), liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, or have had dizziness/fainting (syncope) due to low blood pressure in the past. These may affect your treatment.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Extralast Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Driving
UNSAFE
Extralast Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
You may feel sleepy, dizzy, faint, have difficulty concentrating and blurred vision while taking this medicine. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
CAUTION
Extralast Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, use of Extralast Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Extralast Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.
However, use of Extralast Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
