Description:

Evolon Cream is identical to a female hormone, estriol (a type of estrogen). It is used to treat symptoms associated with menopause. This topical preparation helps to treat vaginal burning, dryness, and itching caused by a lack of estriol or estrogen.

You should use Evolon Cream in the way your doctor advises. It may depend on whether you have had any kind of hormonal replacement treatment (HRT) before. Even if your symptoms improve, you should continue the treatment as it has been prescribed. Follow hygiene instructions and complete the full course. Consult your doctor for any concerns or side effects.


Ordinary side effects of Evolon Cream include fluid retention, nausea, breast discomfort, and pain (mastalgia), postmenopausal spotting (vaginal bleeding), cervical discharge (vaginal discharge), and vaginal irritation. Not everyone should experience the same side effects; they can differ. Consult your doctor if you experience any severe side effects or if they worsen. Tell your doctor if you experience bleeding in your vagina. Your doctor may give you an alternative medicine.


Earlier using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs.
